Job summary

Advanced Practice Solutions, LLC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join a shelter-based clinic in Minneapolis. The role is full-time temporary, 40 hours weekly, with a mix of standard and extended shifts, supporting primary care, care coordination, and acute services for clients experiencing homelessness.

You will perform phlebotomy, immunizations, vital signs, specimen collection, and lab tests while maintaining inventory and patient flow in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• Diploma or associate degree from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification as CMA or RMA preferred.
• At least 1 year of public health experience.

Responsibilities

• Interview clients, take vitals, and document in Epic.
• Assist NP and staff with exams; administer vaccines and draw blood.
• Perform limited lab tests and manage specimen transport.
• Maintain lab documentation and inventory; prepare supplies for transport.
• Schedule follow-up appointments using Epic; ensure aseptic environment.
