Job summary

EngageMED, Inc. in Little Rock seeks a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to support clinical operations under provider supervision.

You will perform vital signs, basic testing, and prepare specimens to ensure patient safety and privacy. Duties include administering medications and vaccines, drawing blood, assisting with examinations, maintaining equipment and records, and escalating issues to the clinic manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• National CMA/RMA/NRCMA certification required.
• BLS or ACLS certification required.
• Experience performing EKGs, phlebotomy and injections is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtain and record vital signs, allergies and current medications.
• Draw blood samples and prepare specimens for lab analysis.
• Administer medications and vaccines as ordered.
• Escalate non-routine issues to the practice manager or providers.
• Ensure safety checks and patient privacy are maintained.
