Job summary

Qualifications

• Texas Medication Aide certification required.
• Minimum 6 months experience as a certified nursing assistant or clinical experience while enrolled in a CNA certification class.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per facility policies, nursing care procedures, and safety rules.
• Make rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer nursing care.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals to ensure correct care.
• Report missing ID bands to admission coordinator immediately.
• Make beds and keep bedside/overbed tables clean.
• Ensure water pitchers are cleaned, filled, and reachable.
• Assist with other duties as directed by supervising staff.
