CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Medical Assistant at their 161st W Maple Clinic in Omaha, NE. You will be the friendly face for patients, taking vitals, preparing exam rooms, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient information.

The ideal candidate should be a graduate from an accredited medical assisting program and possess BLS certification. The position offers a competitive hourly pay range of $18.06 - $25.51 and a sign-on bonus of up to $5000.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by ABHES or CAAHEP.
• Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Lead patients comfortably through their visit, taking vitals and preparing exam rooms.
• Build rapport with patients, gathering medical histories.
• Document patient information accurately in EMR system.
• Collect specimens and process lab orders.
• Communicate messages between patients and healthcare professionals.
