Job summary

Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support outpatient cardiology care. Under physician or APP supervision, you will perform diverse patient care tasks in line with established guidelines.

Candidates should have CMA credentials or nursing assistant background and BCLS certification. This position offers growth within a collaborative Piedmont team in Georgia.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred and
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or
• In Lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

• Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, advanced practice provider (APP), or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
