Responsibilities

Perform CMA duties in outpatient settings to support patient flow and care.

Accurately document patient visits and clinical notes in EMR systems.

Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy, and safety standards.

Monitor vital signs and identify urgent conditions requiring escalation.

Assist physicians with examinations and routine procedures as needed.

Coordinate patient appointments to optimize clinic throughput and reduce wait times.

Utilize data and pipelines to track performance against clinic targets.

Engage in ongoing learning to advance clinical skills and professional growth.

Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members to ensure expectations are met.

Ensure accurate coding and billing information to support revenue cycles.

Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.

Experience/Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with outpatient clinical experience

Proficient EMR/documentation and accurate clinical note entry

Vital signs monitoring with ability to identify urgent conditions

Excellent communication with patients, families, and team
