Northwest Specialty Hospital in Athol, ID, is seeking a compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Athol Family Medicine team. The role includes rooming patients, recording vitals, injections, venipuncture, urinalysis, and EKG testing within a patient-centered environment.

Candidates should hold a CMA with active certification (AAMA/NCCT/NHA) and BLS, have a high school diploma, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CMA certification with active status (AAMA/NCCT/NHA).
• BLS certification to support clinical responsibilities.
• Aseptic technique and standard precautions.
• EKG, venipuncture, urinalysis, injections knowledge.
• Ability to relate and work well with others at the bedside.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vital signs.
• Administer injections and perform venipuncture.
• Conduct urinalysis and EKG testing.
• Prepare and clean procedure rooms for in-office procedures.
• Ensure proper disposal of biohazard and sharps waste.
