Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Specialty Services in Georgia seeks a Medical Assistant or CMA to perform patient care tasks under the supervision of a physician, APP, or RN. You will follow established guidelines and support clinical workflows in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Candidates should have MA/CNA training or equivalent, with BCLS and CMA/NCMA certifications preferred. On-site position with opportunities for growth within a leading regional health system.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma preferred; MA or CNA program required.
• Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or Nursing Assistant program required.
• In lieu of formal education, 1 year MA/clinical experience required.
• No experience required.
• In lieu of degree, 1 year MA/clinical experience required.
• BCLS certification required.
• CMA-AAMA or NCMA-NCTT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, APP, or RN per guidelines.
• Adhere to established guidelines and standards in patient care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient needs and flow.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred and
