Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana is seeking a CMA Operator I in Sheridan, IN. The position runs Monday through Friday with a starting wage of $15 per hour and full benefits.

You will assemble, inspect, and package components according to written specifications and manufacturing instructions in a controlled environment. Responsibilities include reading technical documentation, setting up and operating machinery, quality checks with calipers/micrometers, and maintaining accurate production

Qualifications

• Read, interpret, and follow technical manufacturing instructions.
• Demonstrate precise manual dexterity to handle tools and components.
• Inspect assembled products for quality and conform to specs.
• Think clearly and follow written instructions while adhering to safety.
• Set up and operate machinery with precision in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow written instructions to hand-assemble and inspect components in a controlled environment.
• Box, package, and label complete sets and products in the process flow.
• Set up, maintain, and operate machinery.
• Handle tools and inspection equipment, including calipers and micrometers.
• Maintain documentation reporting quality problems or findings.
• Work at different workstations while following safety and quality requirements.
• Adhere to Quality Management System and regulatory requirements.
• Perform product tests to assess reliability and suitability.
