Shifts Available:

• Monday-Friday 7AM-5PM - TUESDAY OFF - 36 hours/week
• Monday/Wednesday/Friday 7AM-5PM, Tuesday 7AM-12PM, Thursday OFF - 32 hours/week

All Peds Clinic Staff work a weekend rotation that is every 5-10 weekends - working either Saturday OR Sunday 8AM-12PM at the Newborn center - Walnut Creek Pediatrics Clinic - An additional $3/hour is paid during this time!!

We are seeking a compassionate clinical professional to join our team. This position is open to Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN). This clinical professional will provide support in patient care, assisting with exams, treatments, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Valid and current licensure/certification in one of the following:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Active/Unencumbered LPN license in state of practice or compact license including state of practice.
  • OR Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants (Certificate, diploma, or Associate’s Degree) required.
• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant through one of the following required:
  • National Healthcare Association
  • American Association of Medical Assistants
  • National Center for Competency Testing
  • National Certified Medical Assistant
  • National Association of Health Professionals
  • American Registry of Medical Assistants
  • American Allied Health
  • American Medical Technologists
• Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC is a plus!
• For positions within UnityPoint Clinic, team members may be required to work at or to float to other locations to support optimized staffing
