Job summary

Vitruvian Health in Georgia is seeking a Medical Assistant to support examination and treatment under physician direction. You will prepare patients, perform procedures with supervision, and assist with patient calls, refills, referrals, and prior authorizations.

You will interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information in charts. You may collect blood or lab specimens and prepare them for testing, while following standard procedures and working as a cooperative team member.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical Assistant program completion; certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification required (AHA/Red Cross).
• 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with examination and treatment under physician direction.
• Prepare patients for visits and obtain vital signs.
• Handle phone calls, prescription requests, referrals, and prior authorizations.
