Job summary

• Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician and/or advanced practitioner.
• Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs (pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, height) and records information in patients’ charts.
• May be required to collect blood samples, tissue or other laboratory specimens and prepare them for testing.
• Assists with business operations, clerical, medical records management, reception, and patient scheduling as needed.
