AdventHealth Hendersonville is seeking an experienced clinical support professional to join our team in Hendersonville, North Carolina. This full-time role requires compassionate patient care, accurate documentation, and strict adherence to safety and practice guidelines.

You will perform clinical intake, assist with procedures, manage inventory, and help ensure efficient clinic operations while maintaining patient confidentiality and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of health care field and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of chronic disease management.
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize internal and external resources.
• Expertise in patient advocacy and navigating complex systems.
• Ability to function in stressful, fast-paced environments and apply stress management techniques.
• Ability to work independently within certification scope.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and professional demeanor.
• Proficient reading, writing, typing and English comprehension.
• Experience with computers required.

Responsibilities

• Travels as needed to fulfill staffing needs and support clinic operations.
• Maintains education requirements for the position and demonstrates competency through annual clinical competencies and tests.
• Ensures efficient office flow by preparing patients and equipment for treatment and documenting results.
• Maintains OSHA regulatory enforcement and other office compliance.
• Provides whole care to patients during office visits, including intake, tests, screenings, labs, medications, and closing care gaps.
• Maintains confidentiality of employees' and patients' information.
• Supports staff teamwork by assisting patients, visitors, and co-workers.
