Responsibilities

• Passes out medication and gives treatments per physician’s orders, safely and per facility policy.
• Documents care in the electronic medical record or other systems.
• Notify appropriate staff when medications need refills.
• Prepare discontinued and expired medications for return to pharmacy daily.
• Provide setup, encouragement, and involvement for activities aligned with residents’ interests.
• Perform other duties as required.
