Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is hiring a Medical Assistant to support clinical teams in North Augusta, SC. Under supervision, you will perform patient care activities and assist with front and back office duties, helping deliver award-winning care to patients and families.

The role requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program (or equivalent experience) and CMA/BLS certifications; ongoing growth and a collaborative environment are offered.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Nursing Assistant program required.
• In lieu of formal education, two years of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA certification or similar certification preferred or required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Work Experience

Licenses and Certifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization Upon Hire Required and
