Positive Impact Health Centers, Inc. is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support medical providers delivering PrEP and HIV care. The CMA will work under the Nurse Manager and Director of Clinical Care to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant with at least 2-3 years of experience in clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Support physicians, NP and PA in care of patients receiving PrEP services and HIV care.
• Escort patients to exam rooms.
• Perform vital signs.
• Return phone calls within 24 hours.
• Conduct patient interviews including history, complaints, and current medications.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist clinicians during examinations.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens or perform basic lab tests.
• Prepare referrals and collaborate with the assigned care team.
