Job summary

Adept Nursing & Rehab of Waverly in Nebraska is seeking Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to join our team on a PRN basis across all shifts. You will administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse, ensuring safety and quality of care for residents.

Ideal candidates hold CMA certification in NE and CNA certification, with attention to detail, compassion, and teamwork. Prior long-term care experience is preferred and we offer benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Active CMA (40 hrs) certification in NE.
• Current CNA certification in NE.
• Prior experience in skilled nursing/long-term care preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and safely per physician orders.
• Observe residents for side effects or reactions and report changes promptly.
• Document medication administration per facility policies.
• Assist residents with ADLs as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and storage areas.
• Follow all state regulations and facility protocols.
• Provide compassionate, respectful care to all residents.
