Job summary

Adept Nursing & Rehab of Waverly is now hiring Certified Medication Aides (CMAs) to administer medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Active CMA 40 hrs (NE) certification required.
• Current CNA certification in NE.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing/long-term care preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and safely per physician orders
• Observe residents for side effects or reactions and report changes promptly
• Document medication administration in accordance with facility policies
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and storage areas
• Follow all state regulations and facility protocols
• Provide compassionate, respectful care to all residents

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Medication Aide 40 hrs (CMA) certification in NE

• Current CNA certification in NE

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
