Job summary

Palmer Addiction Recovery Services in Tulsa, OK, seeks a Certified Medication Aide to monitor residents and dispense medications in a residential treatment setting. You will support therapeutic goals, maintain safety, and coordinate with the care team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and Oklahoma CMA certification, plus CPR/First Aid. Weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 7:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m., 32 hours/week) apply; driving may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Certified Medication Aide in Oklahoma.
• Valid Oklahoma driver's license and clean driving record.
• Current Oklahoma Health Department Food Handler permit.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification for adults and children.
• Certified Medication Aide certification preferred.
• Computer skills including spreadsheets, word processing and databases.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety and well-being of residents in a residential setting.
• Dispense medications as ordered by physicians.
• Coordinate with supervisor and treatment team to meet therapeutic goals.
• Maintain accurate records and shift logs.
• Transport participants to appointments and activities as required.
• Facilitate groups and assist with program activities.
• Adhere to facility policies and safety procedures.
• Complete intake/discharge procedures and orient new clients.
