Job summary

Franklin Plaza in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a reliable Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to support safe, accurate med administration and assist the nursing team with resident care. You will document administration, ensure medication safety, and maintain organized medication carts in a compassionate, team-oriented environment.

The role requires active CMA and STNA certifications in Ohio, previous long-term care experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active CMA certification for the state of Ohio.
• STNA certification active in Ohio.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to resident safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and safely under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Document medication administration in accordance with facility procedures.
• Report medication discrepancies, adverse reactions, or changes in resident condition.
• Assist residents with daily living tasks as assigned (activities, hygiene, meals, etc.).
• Maintain medication carts, supplies, and ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and confidentiality guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Support the nursing team with additional duties as needed.
