Norwood Towers Post Acute in Ohio is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) and STNA to support residents’ safety and daily wellness. Qualifications

• Must be a licensed/certified Medication Aide in Ohio who is listed on the Ohio STNA registry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, basic math, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfort using electronic charting/computer systems; standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications under the guidance of nursing supervisors and physicians with safety and accuracy.
• Accurately prepare, administer, and document oral and topical medications as prescribed.
• Verify resident identities, monitor medication ingestion, track vital signs, and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist with labeling, charting, drug receipt error reporting, and safe medication disposal per guidelines.
• Maintain positive working relationships with physicians, pharmacists, and nursing staff to ensure smooth resident care.
• Provide compassionate daily care including activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
