Piedmont Columbus Med. Group is seeking a Medical Assistant who will provide patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, APP, or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards.

The candidate should have a Medical Assistant program credential or Nursing Assistant background, with BCLS certification, and consider related clinical experience if formal education is not complete.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program required.
• In lieu of formal education, one year of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.

Mansioni

• Provide a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, APP, or RN in accordance with guidelines and standards.
• Support clinical staff in patient flow, basic procedures, and documentation as directed.

Education

Work Experience

• No experience required Required or
• In lieu of degree one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required and
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization Required or
• National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)-NCTT Required
