Job summary

Prairie Vista Village in Altoona, IA seeks a dedicated Certified Medication Aide/Tech (CMA/CMT) to join our senior living community. The CMA/CMT passes medications under supervision and provides hands-on care in accordance with physician orders and facility policy.

Responsibilities include monitoring residents, assisting with treatments, and supporting dining and activities. Full-time shifts, with comprehensive health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved CMA/CNA training program.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certifications.
• Ability to pass competency exams in clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Pass medications under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse and provide direct, hands-on care to residents.
• Report changes in residents' condition immediately to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist with medications and treatments as assigned and per regulations.
• Provide personal services to residents as indicated on Tenant Service Plans.
