Job summary

Colonial Village is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide/Tech (CMA/CMT) to join our team. The CMA/Tech passes medications under the Charge Nurse and provides hands-on resident care per physician orders while maintaining safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Completed an approved training program and passed competency examinations to obtain CNA and CMA certification.

Responsibilities

• Passes medication under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse and provides treatments per physician orders.
• Review Tenant Service Plans to stay familiar with tenant needs and preferences.
• Assist tenants with medications and treatments as assigned and allowed by regulation.
• Respond to calls from the emergency call system promptly.
• Maintain infection control procedures and a clean, safe environment.
• Assist with dining room activities and support resident social/recreational activities.
• Monitor changes in tenant needs or health status and report them per procedures.
• Respond to emergencies according to training.
