Job summary

Wallace Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Wallace, NC is hiring a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) who also holds a CNA certification. This PRN role administers oral and topical medications under a licensed nurse’s supervision, following state and federal regulations to support resident health and well-being.

Qualifications

• CMA certification required in North Carolina.
• CNA certification required in North Carolina.
• Experience with medication administration and resident care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Records administration of meds and treatments in the electronic system.
• Monitors residents' condition and reports changes to nursing staff.
• Responds to resident calls and assists with daily living activities as needed.
• Maintains safety and quality care in all tasks.
