Job Details

• Salary: $16.01 - $21.34 per hour

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN) and maintain related medical records.
• Present medication to patient and observe ingestion or administer medication using specified procedures.
• Take vital signs or observe patient to detect response to medication, and report reactions.
• Restock medication inventories.
• May provide direct patient care. Ensure resident safety by identifying hazards and emergency situations and initiating corrective actions.

Requirements

• Medication Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
