Job summary

Marion Assisted Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide direct, hands-on care to residents while safely administering medications and promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.

You will work in a warm, resident-centered environment, collaborating with the nursing team to monitor changes, assist with ADLs, meals, mobility, and maintain accurate med records. We value compassion, reliability, and teamwork, with flexible day and night shifts available.

Qualifications

• Active CMA certification in the state.
• Experience in medication administration is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide mobility assistance and transfers; monitor and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation; ensure a safe environment.

Position Summary

As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) at Marion Assisted Living, you will provide direct, hands-on care to residents while safely administering medications and promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life. The CMA at Marion Assisted Living plays a vital role in supporting residents’ daily needs and enhancing their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed in accordance with state regulations and Marion Assisted Living policies
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and dining assistance
• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and team members
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at Marion Assisted Living

Qualifications

• Active Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the state
• Previous CMA experience preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail, especially in medication administration
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including day and night shifts
