We are seeking an experienced Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team!

The Certified Medication Aide's primary role is to prepare, administer, report, and record medications according to physician’s orders and established policies and procedures, ensuring the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of drugs and their side effects specific to the elderly population.
  • Follow the 5 rights when administering medications.
  • Accurately and legibly record drug administration and resident reactions.
  • Reorder medicine from pharmacy and notify the charge nurse if medications are unavailable.
Qualifications:
  • Must be certified as a Qualified Medication Aide by the Department of Health.
  • Ability to make independent decisions.
  • Previous skilled nursing home experience.
