Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a full-time Certified Medication Aide in Kansas to support residents across Assisted Living and Memory Care. You will manage medications, document in the Medication Assistance Record, and assist with daily living activities while ensuring safety and compassionate care.

Ideal candidates hold an active Kansas CMA certification and meet all state education requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be an active Certified Medication Aide in the State of Kansas.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, ordering, and assisting residents with medication needs.
• Transcribing and documenting in the Medication Assistance Record.
• Assisting residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, first aid, wound care, and communication with outside health care professionals as necessary.
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.

Schedule: Full-Time. Days and Hours Vary. Weekends and Holidays availability may be required.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining, ordering, and assisting residents with medication needs.

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences and skills.

• Must be an active Certified Medication Aidein the State of Kansas.
