Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for Assisted Living in Shawnee, Kansas. This part-time role involves medication management, documentation, and resident care in both Assisted Living and Memory Care settings.

Eligibility includes a Kansas CMA, high school diploma, and CPR is preferred. You will join a team that emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and reliable service for residents and their families.

• All state requirements for the position must be met.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, order, and assist residents with medication needs.
• Transcribe and document in the Medication Assistance Record.
• Assist residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care with activities of daily living and vital signs as needed.
• Transport residents for activities, dining, or to other departments.
• Respond to emergencies, requests, and hazards in a timely, safe manner.

Schedule:Part-Time

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining, ordering, and assisting residents with medication needs
• Transcribing and documenting in the Medication Assistance Record
• Assisting residents in Assisted Living and potentially Memory Care, with activities of daily living, taking vital signs, first aid, wound care, and communication with outside health care professionals as necessary
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• A valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in the State of Kansas is required
• High School diploma or equivalent is required
• All state educational requirements for the position must be matched
• CPR certification preferred
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated
