Job summary

Defense Acquisition Support Services LLC is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist (Journeyman level) to support software development projects by developing and implementing CM processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on CM auditing, version control, and baseline management experience, with familiarity in DevSecOps and Agile environments.

The role requires a Secret clearance and a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, with at least 2 years of CM experience within the last 4

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other relevant engineering or technical discipline.
Minimum 2 years of CM experience within the last 4 years.
Active Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Configuration Management (CM) Plans.
Audit software change procedures, development, testing, and documentation for CM compliance.
Participate in design reviews, configuration audits, and software product evaluations.
Ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of software baselines across systems.
Manage code repositories, conduct audits, and support documentation control for software projects.
Utilize CM tools such as JIRA, Puppet, GitHub, Confluence and scripting languages.
