Job summary
Defense Acquisition Support Services LLC is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist (Journeyman level) to support software development by building and enforcing CM processes in a DevSecOps/Agile environment. The role emphasizes baselines, audits, and toolchain management across multiple projects.
You will manage CM plans, conduct audits, participate in design reviews, and ensure configuration control of software baselines using JIRA, Puppet, GitHub, and Confluence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other relevant engineering or technical discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant CM experience within the last 4 years.
- Active Secret clearance required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Configuration Management (CM) Plans.
- Audit software change procedures, development, testing, and documentation for CM compliance.
- Participate in design reviews, configuration audits, and software product evaluations.
- Ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of software baselines across systems.
- Manage code repositories, conduct audits, and support documentation control for software projects.
- Utilize CM tools such as JIRA, Puppet, GitHub, Confluence and scripting languages to automate processes.
