Job summary

Maryland Golf & Country Clubs is seeking a customer-oriented server to enhance member experiences in a busy dining setting. You will take orders, suggest menu items and wine options, and work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a dining environment; country club experience is a plus. This role requires weekend and holiday availability and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs in a fast-paced club environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of dining experience.
• Country club experience is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with members and guests to create memorable dining experiences.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and with a positive attitude.
• Enter orders into the POS system for kitchen and bar staff.
• Write checks that itemize meal costs and sales taxes.
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced club environment.
• Assist food preparation staff when necessary.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu and suggest pairings.
• Ensure guests are satisfied and address any issues.
