Job summary

Lakewood National Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida, is seeking a Part-Time Clubhouse Server to join a fast-paced hospitality team. You will be part of Troon’s global golf organization and help guests with seating, menu explanations, and service throughout shifts.

You’ll take orders, describe specials, deliver food and drinks, handle payments with a POS system, and strive for guest satisfaction. At least 1 year of serving experience and 18+ with required trainings are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of serving experience.
• Food Safety and Sanitation Training required.
• Alcohol Awareness Training required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Lakewood National Golf Club located in Bradenton, Florida , is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Clubhouse Server ! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon , you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation : $12.00 per hour plus tips

Essential Duties:

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes specials of the day to the guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate.
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guests promptly after preparation.
• Follows-up with guest to ensure satisfaction. Replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintains organized workstation and side work duties.
• Setting up and breaking down golf stations every shift.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques.
• Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Position requires to be cross trained in bartending service.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Valid driver license required (driver license will be required when operating the picker for range balls, golf cart).
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Must have at least one year of serving experience.

Certificates/Licenses:

• Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the Clubhouse Server.
• Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledge of POS system.
