The Opportunity

Are you passionate about mental health recovery and community? As a Clubhouse Rehabilitation Associate, you’ll play a vital role in supporting members to achieve their personal, educational, social, and employment goals. This is a hands‑on position where staff work collaboratively with members—not “for” them—on the meaningful work of running the Clubhouse.

You’ll be part of a small, dedicated team that values strengths, creativity, and shared success. If you’re looking for a position where every day is different, where relationships matter as much as tasks, and where you can truly make an impact, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do
  • Work alongside members in daily Clubhouse operations: reception, data entry, meal preparation, snack bar, and maintaining a welcoming space.
  • Support members in building skills, confidence, and independence through meaningful work and social opportunities.
  • Assist with planning and facilitating events, health and wellness activities, and educational programs.
  • Help connect members with community resources (housing, healthcare, employment, benefits, etc.).
  • Provide transportation and support for appointments, social outings, or conferences.
  • Participate in evening/weekend activities approximately once a month.
  • Uphold the Clubhouse International Standards and contribute to a culture of hope, respect, and recovery.
What We’re Looking For
  • Required:
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
    • Washington State Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
    • Ability to pass a background check.
    • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Access).
    • Ability to register as a WA State Counselor (if not already).
  • Preferred:
    • Experience working with adults living with mental illness.
    • Training in trauma‑informed care.
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Personal Strengths:
    • Excellent listener and communicator.
    • Organized, adaptable, and able to multitask.
    • Works well independently and on a team.
    • Strong initiative and problem‑solving skills.
    • Comfortable maintaining professional boundaries.
    • Brings a positive, strengths‑based perspective.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay: $26–$35/hour, depending on experience.
  • Part‑time: 20–30 hours/week, with the possibility of full‑time.
  • 90‑day review with potential for pay increase.
  • Opportunities for professional development and training.
  • Meaningful work in a supportive, mission‑driven environment.
