Job summary

Country Club of Winter Haven is seeking a facility maintenance technician to support HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems. The role requires performing inspections, routine repairs, and routine inventory upkeep while coordinating with vendors and staff to ensure smooth operations.

You will read work orders and schematics, use hand and power tools, and handle multiple tasks under pressure, including some nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in facility maintenance or building operations.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces.
• Ability to read work orders, basic schematics and manuals.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Ability to analyze problems and handle multiple duties under pressure.
• Flexible hours including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct daily facility inspections and address issues promptly.
• Complete work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Maintain club equipment, tools and inventory.
• Assist with event setup, furniture movement, and minor carpentry or paint projects.
• Troubleshoot maintenance problems and recommend solutions.
• Partner with vendors, contractors, and staff as needed.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
