Asphalt Green Volleyball Club is seeking a committed and energetic Club Volleyball Assistant Coach for the 2026-2027 club season on the Upper East Side in New York, NY. The role supports head coaches in player development, game-day organization, and practice execution, helping athletes grow in skill, confidence, teamwork, and competitive readiness.

Qualifications

Experience coaching volleyball at a competitive level (club, high school or college).
Excellent communication skills for coaching and parent/athlete interaction.
Ability to work as part of a coaching team and follow the Head Coach's direction.
Must complete USAV/GEVA certifications including SafeSport and IMPACT.
Availability for August 2026 tryouts and weekday evenings/Saturdays during the season.

Responsibilities

Support practices and game preparation from September through May/June.
Assist with drills, player feedback, and skill development.
Help create a positive, development-focused team environment.
Support Head Coach during matches and tournaments.
Attend assigned tournaments and maintain professional communication with athletes and families.
