Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is seeking a Security Guard for the North Division to maintain a welcoming, safe, and secure club site. The role requires monitoring activities, enforcing rules, and coordinating with staff and security teams.

You will routinely assess risks, respond to incidents, and support club operations with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service. CPR/First Responder certification within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Security certification is preferred.
One year of experience in the security field is required.
CPR and First Responder certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the security of the club. Patrols building and grounds ensuring areas not in use are locked.
Address irregularities such as suspicious people, fire hazards, leaking pipes and security doors left unlocked.
Enforce compliance with all rules and regulations among visitors and members.
Maintain radio contact with security team, club manager, or lead staff.
Know activities within the building and reference Boys & Girls Clubs policies when answering questions.
Direct members within lobby to the proper program area.
