Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee seeks a Security Guard - Carver to help maintain a welcoming, safe, and secure club site. You will patrol the building and grounds, lock unused areas, and monitor for hazards while coordinating with the security team and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Security certification is preferred.
• One year of experience in security.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR and First Responder certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Secure the club and patrol building and grounds.
• Address irregularities such as suspicious people, fire hazards, leaking pipes and doors left unlocked.
• Enforce rules and regulations among visitors and members.
• Maintain radio contact with security team, club manager, or lead staff.
• Maintain knowledge of activities and refer to club policies.
• Direct members in lobby to proper program area.
• Participate in required trainings by the Club, County, State, and/or funder.
