Job summary

Bluejack National in Texas is seeking an enthusiastic Recreation Assistant to supervise the Fort amenities and supervise member children. You will guide activities, ensure safety, and help run organized programs across pools, lake, and courts.

The role requires 18+ years, strong customer service, and the ability to work with families in a luxury club setting. Expect flexible weekday/weekend hours and event support as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience in high-end golf/country club or hospitality industry is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work with children of various ages and backgrounds.
• Organizational skills to plan and execute activities effectively.
• Physical ability to engage in recreational activities and handle equipment.
• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of all Fort amenities, ensuring safety and proper use.
• Provide supervision of Bluejack member children in The Fort area and guide activities.
• Plan and lead age-appropriate recreational activities and lake programs.
• Inspect, maintain, and clean equipment and high-traffic areas; ensure safety/sanitation.
• Enforce guest rules; intervene in unsafe situations and address concerns.
• Administer basic First Aid/CPR and document incidents as needed.
• Maintain attendance, equipment use, and incident records; communicate with parents/management.
• Collaborate with teammates to support opening/closing and shift coverage.
• Engage positively with families and members and foster an inclusive atmosphere.
• Assist with setup/breakdown and service of Fort events; follow additional leadership requests.
