The Fort Wayne Philharmonic is seeking a Club Orchestra Classroom Assistant to support after-school programs for Club O (grades 2-5) and Club Kid-O (Pre-K to 1). The role involves assisting teaching artists, coordinating space and equipment, and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for students aged 7–12 at partner elementary schools.
Open to elementary education experience with an interest in music and ensemble settings.

Students willlaythe musical groundwork to play in an orchestra and end the year with a performance with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic.
Students will experience a variety of lessons that incorporate the use of pitch, rhythm, body movement, playing Orff mallet instruments like xylophones, glockenspiels, marimbas, and metallophones. In addition, the children will learn to sing and combine skills to perform throughout the year.
