Job summary

Club Operations Assistant (Duty Manager) is a flexibly scheduled role based in the Club Division, MWR, Fleet Activities, Okinawa, Japan. The incumbent supports club operations across shifts, ensures proper decorum, and assists with events and staff supervision.

Responsibilities include enforcing policies, reporting issues, conducting closing fire checks, and coordinating with the Club Manager to ensure safe, compliant service and customer satisfaction under Navy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with Navy Food and Beverage Desk Guide and CNIC Instruction 1710.3; reports for duty as prescribed by Club Manager.
• Maintains decorum and enforces club policies and regulations.
• Coordinates with events and ensures activities have proper equipment, personnel, and supplies.
• Resolves issues or refers serious matters to the Club Manager; logs problems in Duty Manager's Log Book.
• Duties include serving alcohol to patrons aged 21+ in compliance with CFAO/DON rules.
• Completes fire checks at closing and secures doors/windows; assists with stocking.
