Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR Certification and AED Certification required before working alone.
• Must be comfortable standing for long periods.
• Great communication skills with internal and external customers.
• Must be team-oriented, motivated, and well-organized.
• Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions to problems proactively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and using a computer.
• Familiar with Excel Fitness brand and operating requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform to your best abilities during your assigned work shift.
• Monitor and maintain club cleanliness and atmosphere.
• Stay proficient in Planet Fitness mobile app use, content, and updates.
• Ensure training has been completed to operate safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure the club is presentable and up to Excel standards.
• Perform club walkarounds and complete assigned cleaning or related tasks.
• Audit and balance cash drawers daily.
• Input and update member information into tablets and POS.
• Ensure members adhere to policies and guidelines.
• Provide a safe and secure environment for all members.
• Communicate with members and deliver high level service.
• Stock retail and janitorial items for the next shift.
• Adhere to company standards and help resolve day-to-day issues.
• Audit club inventory and communicate with GM, AM, and Shift Lead on orders.
• Stay up to date on required certifications and training.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Promote, tour, and assist prospects and potential members.
• Assist GM and AM with promotions, training, and operations strategies.
• Ensure compliance with laws and insurance requirements.
• Operate and assist members with equipment and amenities.
• Represent the company at community events.
