Planet Fitness - PF Baseline Fitness seeks a Club Manager to oversee daily gym operations and lead a team to deliver an exceptional member experience. You will supervise staffing, manage onboarding, and ensure policies are followed while maintaining a welcoming environment.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service, and organizational skills, with a focus on open/close procedures and promoting the club’s offerings. This is a full-time supervisory position at our Minnesota club.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience.

• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
• Member service oversight ensuring top-quality customer experiences.
• Lead front desk tasks: greeting members, tours, and handling inquiries.
• Provide support for staff and members.
• Create and maintain a positive image for the club.
• Coach and counsel performance to meet company standards.
• Ensure prompt opening/closing of the gym.
• Train staff on current marketing promotions.
• Finish manager onboarding in Paycom for new hires.
• Ensure club is open and staffed during all business hours.
• Enforce adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Order supplies and track inventory.

Job Title: Club Manager

Reports to: District Manager

Status: Full Time/Supervisor/Exempt/Non-Exempt

Job Summary

Responsible for oversight of gym operations to ensure positive member experience and a financially successful club.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.
• Member service oversight making sure all team members are providing a great customer service experience at all times.
• High involvement in all front desk related tasks: greeting and welcoming members, gym tours, member service issues/questions, etc.
• Provide support for team members and club members.
• Create and maintain a positive image for the club.
• Coaching and counseling performance to help achieve company standards.
• Ensure prompt opening/closing of gym.
• Ensure staff are aware and trained on all current marketing promotions.
• Finish manager portion of onboarding, in Paycom, for all new hires.
• Ensure the club is open and staffed during all hours of business.
• Ensuring self and team members are implementing and adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for ordering supplies and tracking inventory.

Minimum Qualifications

• Honesty and good work ethic
• At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills
• Basic computer proficiency

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift
• Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the time.
