Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Personal Training Certification a plus.
  • 1-3 years of Sales experience preferred.
  • CPR, First Aid and AED certification preferred. Ability to obtain certifications is required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive membership, training, and merchandise sales.
  • Review and improve daily sales processes with club managers.
  • Execute marketing campaigns as directed by Marketing Director.
  • Post on club social media to boost engagement and culture.
  • Ensure excellent member experience with proper follow-up.
  • Address delinquencies and collect on accounts when needed.
  • Qualify, inform, inspire, and convert prospects to members.
  • Clean and maintain the club and equipment.
  • Handle weekly deposits, till counts, and inventory.
  • Assist in preventing cancellations and freezing memberships when needed.
  • Audit Personal Training and client tracking.
  • Review time-off requests and timecards weekly.
  • Analyze club reports to identify trends and improve strategies.
  • Grow and sustain a Personal Training department.
  • Lead meetings and support team development.
  • Coordinate with Lead Manager/Regional Manager for club success.

Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for daily operations in the club and help drive daily memberships and personal training revenue through coaching and KPIs.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive membership, training, and merchandise sales.
  • Drive sales by reviewing the daily sales process with club managers.
  • Execute marketing campaigns as set forth by the Marketing Director, including community outreach and involvement.
  • Post on club’s social media accounts to enhance engagement, community, and culture.
  • Focus on member experience, including proper follow‑up to members, and prospects.
  • Actively review and ensure follow up on delinquencies occurs. Collect on delinquent member accounts as necessary.
  • Qualify, inform, inspire, and convert prospects to club members.
  • Clean and maintain the club and equipment.
  • Perform weekly bank deposits, till counts, and inventory counts.
  • Help prevent cancellations and cancel or freeze memberships as necessary.
  • Auditing Personal Training and Client tracking.
  • Review and approve time off requests and timecards on a weekly basis.
  • Review and analyze club reports to improve strategies and identify trends.
  • Responsible for growing and sustaining a Personal Training department which may include training sessions as needed.
  • Attend regular weekly/monthly meetings and training opportunities.
  • Responsible for reviewing and maintaining KPIs for your club.
  • Support the development of your team by leading meetings, setting goals, and completing performance evaluations.
  • Partner with the Lead Manager or Regional Manager to ensure club success, whichever applies to your club.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
  • Proficient in MS Office with ability to learn new software.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to lead a team, self‑starter.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Personal Training Certification a plus.
  • 1-3 years of Sales experience preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Work is a customer facing indoor gym setting with a low to moderate noise level.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Less than 10% on an annual basis.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
