Job summary

The Westin Buckhead Atlanta, part of HEI Hotels & Resorts, seeks an Outlet Service Attendant to assist the Outlet Manager in keeping a welcoming dining area and delivering exceptional guest service during breakfast service.

Responsibilities include clearing and resetting tables, stocking stations, replenishing breakfast items, moving used tableware to the dishwashing area, and maintaining attendance and reliability; strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Ability to move or push goods up to 150 lbs with or without accommodations.
• Effective verbal and written communication; adapt to different audiences.

• Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods and condiments.
• Take care of guests with breakfast and replenish as necessary.
• Transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $17.00 - $17.50

Overview

Assist the Outlet Manager in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, as well as providing guests stellar service.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting. Promptly and consistently reset all service ware.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.
• Take care of guests with their breakfast experience and replenish as necessary.
• Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Skills

• Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, transport up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to move or push goods on a hand cart/truck weighing a maximum of 150 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc
