Job summary

Silo Ridge Field Club, located in Amenia, New York, seeks a Kitchen Porter to join the Culinary Department. You will maintain cleanliness and order in kitchen and foodservice areas, assist culinary staff, and support event operations to create a premier member experience.

Requirements include prior hospitality experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or service industry preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for members, guests, and team members.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and order of kitchen and foodservice areas.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, sanitary, and well stocked; assist with inventory control.
• Support culinary staff and other banquet staff as needed during events.
• Ensure safe handling of chemicals and bio-hazard cleanup as required.
