Job summary

Marcus Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Part Time Guest Service Attendant for the Geneva Club at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. You will warmly greet guests, assist VIPs, and coordinate arrivals and concierge services to ensure memorable stays.

In this role you’ll support pre-arrival planning, hotel activities, dining, spa bookings, and off-site reservations, while maintaining a calm, guest-focused environment. Flexible hours including nights and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, front desk, or hospitality.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Energetic, with a positive attitude and strong organizational skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift items like trays and coffee urns.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays; additional language skills preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, staying calm during busy times and emergencies.
• Register VIP guests, assist with check-ins, and coordinate luggage delivery with the Bellstand.
• Provide concierge services, arranging hotel activities, dining, spa, and off-site reservations.
• Conduct pre-arrival calls and make initial arrangements for guest stays.
• Maintain a peaceful, service-friendly environment in the Club, including food and beverage service and light housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

What do you bring to the role?

• Previous experience in customer service, front desk, or hospitality; food and beverage experience a plus.


• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional language skills preferred but not required.


• Energetic, with a positive attitude and strong organizational skills.


• Creative self-starter, capable of working independently and making decisions.


• Able to stand for long periods and lift items like trays and coffee urns.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.


• Adaptable to varying business needs and able to multitask effectively.


• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
