Job summary

Wampanoag Country Club in West Hartford, CT, seeks a dynamic General Manager to lead a premier family‑oriented club following a new 33,000 sqft clubhouse opening. You will oversee daily operations across golf, dining, and events, mentor staff, manage capital projects, and uphold world‑class service standards for members and guests.

Qualifications

• Emerging or Proven leadership experience in active club or hospitality environments.
• People-focused communication with members, staff, and board.
• Strong understanding of budgets, P&L, and financial controls.
• Visible leadership with hands-on engagement across departments.
• Organized, detail-oriented approach to operations and service.
• Experience in Food & Beverage operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead with vision and professionalism; set club culture and standards.
• Enhance member experience across golf, dining, and social events.
• Oversee budgeting, capital planning, and financial controls.
• Recruit, hire, and develop department heads and staff.
• Drive F&B service quality and innovation.
• Develop membership growth and community engagement.
