Job summary

Fitness Connection is seeking a General Manager to lead one Fayetteville club, driving sales, operations, and team performance while fostering a welcoming, growth‑oriented culture.

You will partner with the Area Manager to develop talent, ensure strong member experiences, and balance performance with people‑first leadership. Base salary is $60,000–$75,000 with performance bonuses and total compensation of $72,000–$90,000+.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• External hires: 12+ months of club management experience with proven results.
• Internal candidates: 6+ months as Sales or Operations Manager in good standing.
• Knowledge of fitness industry and multi-function club operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Valid driver's license and background check required.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue and club performance across sales, operations and member experience.
• Develop and coach a team to deliver results and engagement.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and KPIs to drive results.
• Maintain facility standards and operational consistency.
• Communicate clearly to align goals and accountability.
